Kitaro's Concert @ Genting, 07/03

Attended Kitaro's concent last saturday which was held in Genting Highland's Arena of Stars. It was my first time, the second for my parents & I can tell you, I had attended many concerts in my past due to my mom's likings for concerts *she's a honky so I guess its expected* & my dad as a "constant-consumer" of Genting & this is definitely one of the best.

A little about Kitaro. He is borned on 4th February 1953 in Toyohashi. He's not only famous for his talent on composing music but also on his talent on playing multi-instruments. He played all kind of instruments, from keyboard to bass, flute to drums and many other "weird"/new-age kind of instruments which many had probably not seen it before. His family is against his idea on becoming a musician hence he left home, surviving on several random part-time job & composing songs at night. Was once in a band, started on his solo career in 1977 & his soundtrack for Heaven & Earth was nominated for Grammy award which at that time, his career was starting to a fly. Until today, he's one of the most famous musician, attracting young & old alike. Kitaro's music has long been recognised for its messages of peace & spirituality & he himself sometimes admit that his own creation suprised he himself because he claim that its the music from heaven, not from him.

*I apologize for the low quality pictures because my camera ran out of battery & I had to make-do with my camera phone*

Arena of Stars before the concert start.
One of the shot of Kitaro with his famous Taiko drum.
His band which make up of a drummer, a basssist, a violonist & 2 other playing the keyboard.
One of the clearest shot I can manage!

If you thought that you had never heard of Kitaro, click on the video below. I'm sure most Malaysians had heard of his music before because the track that I had recorded below is one of his most famous track worldwide, used in our high school or primary school's sports day often because of the spirits it carries & bring. Anyway just click on it & try listening. Ignore the crowd's voice =P

Today.

Was chatting with Ian. Saw each other over in Monash today since he went to collect his transcript. One more unemployed person for Malaysia! Headed to lunch with him over in Zanmai & to get some painkillers for my backache. Its getting worst =C

Dubai sounds fun.

I wanna go there =C

Anyhow I feel much more better now with the painkillers & a short nap during the evening. Heading off to bed soon though since I couldn't really sleep for 2 nights in a row. I hope tonight will be a good one.

Anyhow, I'm still chatting with Ian on Live Messenger now & there's something I would like to write over here.

Ian: Nobody said it was easy being human.
Me: Its easy if you choose to be easy but human aren't satisfied for simplicity. They always go for the complicated ones.
Ian: Funny how complication costs money but how simplicity is priceless.

Its very true but this is life I guess.

Another random one,

Ian: Criticism comes easy but praise is uncommon.

True, true.

According to him, this is taught in Malaysia's education. I didn't realise that throughout my years of education over here in Malaysia.

Uh. I'm heading off to bed. Gonna be a another long day tomorrow.

Till then.

Bye!

Loves =)

The only GOOD news this week.

Oh, and I remember I have ONE SINGLE news this week which is considered a GOOD one.

Which is...

I got a Distinction for my Accounts!

See, it doesn't make sense. This is my first distinction throughout my studies in Monash *yeah, I'm being lazy & only aims for a pass throughout the whole year last year* & I ended up having a distinction for a unit that I hated the most.

Funny how life goes sometime.

Oh well,

At least I get my parents off my back for good =)

Fark.

You see, I'm really mad at Malaysian drivers. How can they be so freaking careless & just hit into other people cars? Please use the eyes that God had given you to see for #!@#@!#@!'s sake!

You see, you see, the thing is, I decided to go to the pasar malam at my area yesterday so I reach this T-junction & I was waiting for the car on the main road to pass before I turn left. There is this car that is parked on my right & it start reversing & it just suddenly WHAM me on my side. Serious, I dunno how Malaysians drive most of the time & this driver is a MAN so stop saying that girls are the lousy driver *to those who're always sexist & saying how female can't drive* He had this car filled with children so its better off by he paying me & he did but still, now I got to wait till 12 p.m. till my car is fixed *its a little dented on the side only* but still, what am I gonna do for 3 hours so I went to Gamebox & is now writing this stupid post while waiting!

Fark!

Anyhow, my mood is not in its best state. I really want to vent out by bitching about someone but thinking back, this particular girl is one of my friend's girlfriend *not that he's really my friend anymore because of he is those that take you as a friend when he need one & leave you alone when his life is soaring high* & its kinda against me to talk bad about people publicly because I had seen how a little personal venting out through even PERSONAL BLOG can lead to disaster & I'm not in mood for one. So to the girl who think she's all that & just because she went for a few photo shoot, please don't think yourself as one model, little sis. Please do not go around & make yourself hate-able by all the others. I'm not saying I'm perfect, I'm way back to being perfect but just because you got a few chances to photo shoot & have your so called happening crowd, doesn't mean that you need to go around showing off & naming other people as "LALA" or whatever name you call them if they so happen to be NOT in your crowd. As far as I know, you're one just a few months back & its because my friend's the one who changed you.

Shit.

I'm blabbing.

Argh.

Anyway I feel better now.

I think one round of Dota might cure the rest of the bad feelings & I'm going to feed like mad so whoever that happens to be my teammate, I'm sorry to say I'm sorry =D

Bye.

First day of classes & I'm already stressed out.

See, today was supposed to be my first day of classes for this sem & I'm already stressed out by my business law lecturer. She's a good one with her own sense of humor but still, grrr, some of the thing she said at the beginning stresses me out. Extra classes, extra information, remember this & that, rules & regulations, etc. Anyhow most of the rules & conditions she set was okay for me as I was planning to get serious during this sem, no more fooling around & aiming for jus a 'pass' like what I did for the previous year.

But still..

It stresses me out.

Fetched Michelle later on with Brian & headed over to One Utama for lunch in Delicious *its burning a hole in my wallet for going there too often these days*. Decided to catch a movie after lunch because it had been quite long since I last went to the cinema. Not much movie to watch so we decided to go for "Eden Lake", which was supposed to be a thriller according to the ticket seller.
Hrmm, the movie is very meaningful in the sense of problems with children these days, parenting issue, etc. Kinda gross when they torture the guy though. Although the torturing part might be a little fake or over to happen in this reality, stuff that the children did is indeed happening in reality these days & this does not apply only to third world contries but most civillised contries! It reminded me of the documentary that I had watched last year, which was about the life of Americans who lived in the middle of America in really small towns *take note that America is a huge country & many small town exist all over* & all this small towns is some how forgotten, living in a very close community. This people leads very strange life, in some sense, they live meaningless life & many tends to go crazy. This people are term as "white trash" by some people.

Headed home after the movie, raining really hard & the jam was really terrible today. It started to jam when I exit Monash, after the Sunway toll, highway was okay, & right after the Sri Petaling toll the jam starts again, way before Carefour and it took me an hour and a half to reach back home. It normally takes me around 15 minutes only from that toll to my house.

Today is just another bad day.

Cristine the Nerd.

Introducing the new me starting tomorrow:

Meet Cristine the Nerd.

Well anyway this is the male version but since I ain't feminine enough, so I guess this is the tom-boy version of me.

Like it?

Classes starting tomorrow so whether you or I like it or hate it, there's still a need for it.

Fark.

Down.

Being back at Monash Condo, it reminds me of the life that I had chosen to give up.

It was my choice to move back home but I can't help feeling down.

Fuck.
